Kanye West 2048 is the classic sliding-tile puzzle told through his albums. Each tile is a record, and two matching records merge into the next one in his discography. Kanye West started as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records before releasing The College Dropout in 2004. His sound kept changing from album to album, from the orchestral Late Registration and the stadium synths of Graduation to the Auto-Tuned 808s & Heartbreak and the abrasive Yeezus. He has won Best Rap Album at the Grammys four times.

The 11 Kanye West album tiles

The ladder follows release order. It begins with the school trilogy, The College Dropout, Late Registration and Graduation, all three winners of the Grammy for Best Rap Album. Then come 808s & Heartbreak in 2008 and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, shortened to MBDTF, in 2010. Watch the Throne was his 2011 joint album with Jay-Z. Yeezus followed in 2013, The Life of Pablo in 2016 and Ye, with its Wyoming mountain cover, in 2018. Jesus Is King in 2019 leads to the top tile, Donda, released in 2021.

Tips to win Kanye West 2048

  1. Keep your biggest album in one corner and never let it drift. If MBDTF sits bottom-left, press down and left most of the time and right only when needed.
  2. Stack tiles in order along one edge, such as Graduation next to 808s & Heartbreak next to MBDTF. That way a single merge can trigger a chain reaction.
  3. Before every swipe, check what happens to your corner. If a move would open the corner, choose a different direction, even if it gives fewer merges.

Kanye West 2048 FAQ

What is the final tile in Kanye West 2048?

The final tile is Donda, his tenth solo studio album, released in August 2021. It is the latest record on a ladder that starts with The College Dropout in 2004.

What does MBDTF stand for?

MBDTF is short for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, his fifth studio album from 2010. The full title is too long for a tile, so the game uses the abbreviation fans use.

Why is Watch the Throne included?

Watch the Throne, his 2011 album with Jay-Z, sits between MBDTF and Yeezus in his release history. Including it keeps the ladder at exactly eleven steps without leaving gaps in time.

Is Kanye West 2048 free to play?

Yes. The game is free, runs in your browser and needs no download or account. It works on phones, tablets and computers alike.
