Play Cookies 2048 online

Cookies 2048 fills the classic number puzzle with treats from the cookie jar. Swipe the board, and when two matching cookies touch they combine into a better bake. Work up from a fortune cookie to the timeless chocolate chip cookie at 2048. Cookies 2048 is free to play in your browser on a phone or computer.

Every cookie on the ladder has its own story. Shortbread comes from Scotland and is made mostly of butter, sugar and flour. Snickerdoodles are rolled in cinnamon sugar before baking, and peanut butter cookies get their criss-cross pattern from a fork. The chocolate chip cookie was created in the 1930s by Ruth Wakefield at the Toll House Inn in Massachusetts.

The 11 Cookies tiles

The ladder goes from light snacks to the most loved cookie of all. Fortune cookies and animal crackers are small and crisp, so they start the board. Shortbread and gingersnaps are simple, classic bakes. Oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodles bring chewy textures and cinnamon, while peanut butter cookies carry their famous fork marks. White chocolate macadamia and double chocolate are richer bakery favourites. The French macaron, two almond meringue shells with a filling, is the fancy step before the top. Chocolate chip, the cookie Ruth Wakefield made famous at the Toll House Inn, is the 2048 tile.

Tips to win Cookies 2048

  1. Keep your best cookie in a corner like the last one in the jar. If the Macaron sits in the corner, build a second Macaron right next to it for the final bake.
  2. Make a falling row along one edge, like Double Chocolate, Macadamia, Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodle. Each small merge then feeds the next cookie up the line.
  3. Don’t swipe away from your corner just to merge two Fortune Cookies. Small tiles can wait, but a big tile knocked out of place can ruin the whole batch.

Cookies 2048 FAQ

What is the final tile in Cookies 2048?

The final tile is the Chocolate Chip cookie. It was invented in the 1930s by Ruth Wakefield at the Toll House Inn in Massachusetts and is the best-known cookie in many countries, so it is the natural 2048 tile.

Is a macaron a cookie?

A macaron is a French sandwich treat made of two almond-flour meringue shells with a filling. It is often sold alongside cookies, so it appears as the fancy step just below chocolate chip.

Is Cookies 2048 free?

Yes. Cookies 2048 is completely free and runs in your web browser. There is no download, no sign-up and nothing to buy. You can play on a computer, tablet or phone.

How do I get a higher score in Cookies 2048?

Each merge adds the new tile’s value to your score. Keep your biggest cookie in a corner, build a neat chain beside it and plan merges so the board never fills up with small tiles.
