Play Flowers 2048 online

Flowers 2048 is the classic number puzzle turned into a garden. Every tile is a bloom, and merging two of the same grows the next, showier flower. Start with a small seedling and keep merging until you gather a full bouquet. It is free to play in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and it makes a calm, colourful break.

Many of these flowers have real stories behind them. In the 1630s tulip bulbs in the Dutch Republic sold for extraordinary prices during what is now called tulip mania. In Japan, the spring custom of hanami means gathering under cherry blossoms. The lotus is the national flower of India, and it grows out of muddy water.

The 11 flower tiles

The ladder grows from plain to precious. A seedling is the first tile, then the simple daisy and the spring tulip. Hyacinth adds a strong scent, and the hibiscus brings tropical colour. The sunflower stands tall in summer, followed by the cherry blossom, the lotus that rises out of ponds, and the rose, the classic flower of romance. The orchid, a delicate houseplant favourite, is the rarest single bloom on the board. The 2048 tile is the bouquet, where all those flowers come together in one arrangement.

Tips to win Flowers 2048

  1. Plant your biggest tile in one corner and let it grow there. Keep the Orchid beside it so another Orchid can merge into the Bouquet without moving.
  2. Build a falling row such as Rose, Lotus, Cherry Blossom, Sunflower. Merging the smallest one then lets the rest of the row bloom one step at a time.
  3. Keep small tiles like Seedling and Daisy on the open side. Swiping toward your corner most of the time keeps them from getting stuck between your big flowers.
