Play Breakfast 2048 online

Breakfast 2048 is the classic sliding puzzle served on a plate. Swipe or use the arrow keys to move the tiles, and merge two matching dishes to cook up the next one. Start with a cup of coffee and keep going until you make the Full Breakfast. It is free to play in your browser on a phone or computer.

Breakfast looks different all over the world, and the ladder borrows from many tables. There is the French croissant, the bagel linked to New York, Belgian-style waffles, stacks of American pancakes and the full breakfast of eggs, bacon and more that is a weekend tradition in Britain and Ireland.

The 11 Breakfast tiles

The ladder grows from a quick start to a slow morning feast. Coffee and toast come first, then a boiled egg and a banana for a fast bite. Cereal with milk and a buttery croissant are next, followed by a toasted bagel. Crispy bacon starts the cooked part of the menu, and waffles and pancakes bring the syrup. The Full Breakfast takes the 2048 tile because it puts almost everything on one plate: eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast.

Tips to win Breakfast 2048

  1. Keep your biggest dish in one corner, like the main plate on the table. With Pancakes in the corner, a second stack beside it serves up the Full Breakfast.
  2. Line up your tiles from big to small along one edge: Waffles, Bacon, Bagel, Croissant. Merges then move along the row like plates down a busy counter.
  3. Merge your small Coffee and Toast tiles before they pile up. A crowded board is hard to fix, so keep a few empty squares open whenever you can.
