Play McDonald's 2048 online

McDonald's 2048 is the classic sliding puzzle with a fast-food menu. Every tile is a menu item, and two matching items merge into a bigger order. Start with a hash brown, work through sides, desserts and sandwiches, and keep merging until you build a Big Mac. It is free to play in your browser on a phone or computer, with no download.

Several famous McDonald’s items were invented by franchise owners rather than head office. Lou Groen created the Filet-O-Fish in Cincinnati in 1962, and Jim Delligatti first served the Big Mac at his restaurant in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, in 1967. It was added to every McDonald’s in the United States the following year.

The 11 McDonald’s menu tiles

The ladder grows from small sides to big sandwiches. It opens with a breakfast hash brown, the classic fries and the fried apple pie, then the milkshake and the McFlurry. The cheeseburger is the first sandwich on the ladder, followed by Chicken McNuggets. The Filet-O-Fish dates from 1962 and the Egg McMuffin, a breakfast sandwich created by franchisee Herb Peterson, from the early 1970s. The Quarter Pounder arrived in 1971. The Big Mac, with two patties, three bun pieces and its special sauce, is the chain’s signature burger, so it takes the 2048 tile.

Tips to win McDonald's 2048

  1. Keep your biggest menu item in one corner like the counter where orders come up. Once the Quarter Pounder is there, swipe toward it most of the time.
  2. Line items up in order along one edge, like Egg McMuffin next to Filet-O-Fish next to McNuggets. One merge then serves up the next one in the row.
  3. Clear small tiles such as Hash Brown and Fries quickly. Letting them stack up across the board is the fastest way to run out of moves.
