Play Fruits 2048 online

Fruits 2048 is the number puzzle as a fruit bowl. Slide the tiles, and when two matching fruits roll together they grow into a bigger one. Start with a tiny blueberry and keep merging until you reach the giant watermelon at 2048. You can play Fruits 2048 free in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer.

The ladder goes roughly by size, from the smallest fruit to the biggest. Botany has a few surprises along the way. A strawberry is not a true berry because its seeds sit on the outside, while grapes, kiwis and even watermelons count as berries to a botanist. A pineapple forms from many small flowers that fuse together into one fruit.

The 11 Fruits tiles

Each step makes the fruit bigger. Blueberries are among the smallest fruits people eat by the handful, followed by cherries, which often grow in pairs, and strawberries. Grapes come in bunches, then the lemon and the fuzzy kiwi. Apples and peaches are everyday mid-size fruits, and the mango is a large tropical stone fruit. The spiky pineapple is next, and the watermelon, one of the heaviest fruits in the grocery store, is the 2048 tile at the top of the bowl. Subs give a quick taste note for each fruit.

Tips to win Fruits 2048

  1. Choose one corner for your biggest fruit and keep it there. Once a Mango sits in the corner, grow a second Mango beside it to make room for the Pineapple.
  2. Build a line of fruits that shrinks along one wall, such as Peach, Apple, Kiwi, Lemon. A merge at the small end then climbs up the row toward your corner.
  3. Clear small fruits early. Too many Blueberries and Cherries scattered around fill the board fast, so merge them before they block your big tiles.

Fruits 2048 FAQ

What is the final tile in Fruits 2048?

The final tile is the Watermelon. It is the biggest fruit on the ladder, so it is what you get after merging all the smaller fruits from blueberry up to pineapple. Reaching it means you have won.

What order are the fruits in?

The fruits go roughly from small to large: blueberry, cherry, strawberry, grapes, lemon, kiwi, apple, peach, mango, pineapple and watermelon.

Is a watermelon really a berry?

Botanically, yes. A watermelon is a type of berry with a hard rind, the same family as cucumbers and pumpkins. Strawberries, on the other hand, are not true berries even though the name says so.

Can young kids play Fruits 2048?

Yes. The fruit pictures make the tiles easy to recognise, and the rules are simple: swipe and merge matching fruits. It runs free in the browser on tablets and phones, so kids can play anywhere.
