Cheesecake 2048 is the classic merge puzzle for anyone with a sweet tooth. Slide all the tiles with a swipe or the arrow keys, and when two equal tiles meet they bake into the next cheesecake. Work your way up from crumbs to the New York tile. It is free to play in your browser on a phone or computer.

Cheesecake is older than most desserts on the menu. Ancient Greeks made cheese cakes, and the modern version took off once cream cheese was invented in New York in the 1870s. Today you can find it baked dense and tall in New York, burnt on top in San Sebastián or flavoured with matcha in Japan.

The 11 Cheesecake tiles

The ladder builds a cheesecake from the ground up. You start with the crumb base and the cream cheese filling, then add simple flavours like vanilla and lemon. Fruit comes next with strawberry topping and blueberry swirl, followed by richer chocolate and salted caramel. Matcha brings a Japanese twist. Basque burnt cheesecake, from the Basque Country around San Sebastián, is baked hot until the top turns dark. New York cheesecake, rich and dense with plenty of cream cheese, takes the 2048 tile as the style most people picture first.

Tips to win Cheesecake 2048

  1. Keep your best cheesecake in one corner, like the star slice in a bakery window. Build the next Basque Burnt right beside it for an easy final merge.
  2. Line up your tiles from fancy to simple along one edge: Matcha, Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Blueberry. Each merge then flows towards the corner like layers setting in a pan.
  3. Clean up small tiles early. Spare Graham Crumbs and Cream Cheese tiles fill the board fast, so merge them before they block the path to your big tiles.

Cheesecake 2048 FAQ

What is the final tile in Cheesecake 2048?

The final tile is New York cheesecake. It is the dense, creamy style made with lots of cream cheese and a crumb crust, and for many people it is simply what cheesecake means. That makes it the right tile to finish the bake.

What is a Basque burnt cheesecake?

It is a crustless cheesecake from San Sebastián in Spain’s Basque Country, baked at a high temperature so the outside caramelises and turns dark while the middle stays soft. In the game it is the 1024 tile.

Is Cheesecake 2048 free?

Yes. It is a free browser game with no download and no sign-up. Open it on your phone, tablet or computer and start merging straight away.

How do I win Cheesecake 2048?

You win when you make the New York tile, which is the 2048 value. Keep your highest tile in a corner, build a descending row next to it and avoid swiping away from that corner. You can keep playing after you win.
