Play Milkshakes 2048 online

Milkshakes 2048 is the sliding number puzzle served in a tall glass. Swipe the tiles, and when two of the same flavour meet they blend into a richer shake. Start with plain milk, work through the classic flavours and finish with a Freakshake at 2048. It is free to play in your browser on a phone or a computer, no download needed.

Milkshakes became an American soda-fountain favourite in the early 1900s, once electric drink mixers made blending quick. Vanilla, chocolate and strawberry are the classic trio. In 2015 a café in Canberra, Australia, became known for the Freakshake, a shake piled with cake, sweets and sauce, and the over-the-top style spread around the world.

The 11 Milkshakes tiles

The ladder goes from simple to wild. A glass of milk is the starting base, and vanilla, chocolate and strawberry are the three classic flavours that follow. Banana and peanut butter add thicker, nuttier shakes. Cookies and cream mixes in crushed chocolate cookies, while salted caramel brings the sweet and salty mix. Mint choc chip and birthday cake, with sprinkles on top, are the fun parlour picks. The 2048 tile is the Freakshake, a glass loaded with whipped cream, sauce and treats, which is as big as a milkshake gets.

Tips to win Milkshakes 2048

  1. Pick a corner for your best shake and keep blending toward it. With Birthday Cake in the corner, place the next Mint Choc Chip right beside it.
  2. Build a chain of flavours along one edge, such as Salted Caramel, Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter, Banana. One merge at the end can blend the whole row.
  3. Use two main directions, like down and right, and only use the others when the board forces you. This keeps your big shake in place while small ones mix.
