Play Barbie 2048 online

Barbie 2048 is the classic number puzzle in pink. Every tile is a famous doll, friend or film from Barbie’s history, and merging two of the same moves you further through it. Swipe the tiles, keep your best one in a corner and climb from Ken all the way to the original Barbie. It is free to play in your browser on a phone or computer, with no download.

Ruth Handler created Barbie for Mattel, and the doll debuted on March 9, 1959, at the American International Toy Fair in New York. Ken followed in 1961. Since then Barbie has starred in dozens of animated films, and in 2023 Greta Gerwig’s live-action Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, became a worldwide hit.

The 11 Barbie tiles

The first ten tiles follow the calendar. Ken arrived in 1961 and the first Barbie Dreamhouse in 1962, followed by her younger sister Skipper in 1964. Malibu Barbie brought a sunny California look in 1971, and Totally Hair Barbie, with floor-length hair, came out in 1992. Barbie in the Nutcracker in 2001 began a long series of computer-animated films, with Barbie as Rapunzel and Barbie of Swan Lake following. Life in the Dreamhouse launched online in 2012, and the 2023 film comes next. The original 1959 doll takes the 2048 tile as the icon that started it all.

Tips to win Barbie 2048

  1. Keep your top tile in one corner like Barbie in her Dreamhouse. Once Swan Lake sits there, keep swiping toward it so the smaller tiles line up nearby.
  2. Line up tiles in order along one edge, such as Rapunzel next to Nutcracker next to Totally Hair. A single merge at the small end then rolls along the row.
  3. Do not let new Ken tiles land in your corner. Avoid the swipe that opens it, and pick a sideways move along a full row instead.
