Marvel 2048 is the classic number puzzle with superheroes on every tile. Merge two matching heroes to recruit the next one, following the order they joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Keep your strongest hero in a corner, plan your merges and assemble the whole team. Play free in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, no download needed.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe began with Iron Man in 2008, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Over the next eleven years, films introduced heroes one by one and brought them together in team-ups, building to Avengers: Endgame in 2019. The ladder retraces that build-up, one hero at a time.

The 11 Marvel hero tiles

The tiles follow each hero’s first MCU film. Iron Man and the Hulk both arrived in 2008, in Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. Black Widow joined in Iron Man 2 in 2010, then Thor and Captain America got their own films in 2011. Ant-Man followed in 2015. Black Panther and Spider-Man both debuted in Captain America: Civil War in 2016, and Doctor Strange later that year. Captain Marvel arrived in March 2019, just before Avengers: Endgame brought the team together for the 2048 tile.

Tips to win Marvel 2048

  1. Base your top hero in one corner like a headquarters. Once Captain America sits there, keep swiping toward that corner so the team builds out from it.
  2. Line up heroes in order along one edge, such as Doctor Strange next to Spider-Man next to Black Panther. One merge then calls in the next hero automatically.
  3. Avoid swiping in the one direction that opens your corner. If you are forced to, do it when your edge row is full so your big tiles cannot slide.
